I've had two girls and with my first pregnancy I didn't suffer any heartburn at all but with my second I had terrible heartburn, neither of them were hairy babies lol, they both have blonde hair and very little of it! To ease the pain though, have some ice cream or mints. I think you can have Gaviscon but I'd ask your midwife/doctor first.
